New Automated Polishing Line Lifts Hinge Output by 40%

Our Shenzhen factory has commissioned a new automated polishing line dedicated to stainless steel shower hinges, glass clamps and patch fittings. The line replaces three manual buffing stations and lifts daily output by roughly 40%.

Why it matters for buyers

Hand polishing is the step where most suppliers lose consistency. Two hinges from the same batch can differ in gloss, and a re-order six months later rarely matches the original delivery. The new line uses fixed pressure, controlled compound feed and constant belt speed, so every part receives the same treatment.

  • Surface roughness held within Ra 0.05 µm on mirror-polished parts
  • Finish consistency between batches verified against a retained master sample
  • Reduced handling damage — parts move on fixtures instead of being hand-held
  • Shorter lead time for repeat orders of standard hinge models

Capacity

With the new line running alongside our existing CNC and stamping equipment, monthly capacity now stands at approximately 120,000 hinges and 80,000 glass clamps, with room to absorb seasonal peaks from European and North American distributors.

Samples from the new line are available for evaluation. Contact our sales team for a comparison set in polished, satin and matte black finishes.
